Harris has an extensive international background in strategic communications, politics, government, and media.
Before joining GTG, he worked for the UK Prime Minister’s Office and Cabinet where he served as Deputy Director for International Trade and Prosperity Projects. In this role Harris worked as a seconded advisor to the Ukrainian Prime Minister where he led the creation of Ukraine’s national brand campaign. He also supported NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division, including developing the WeAreNATO campaign. He led strategic communications capability-building programs in India, the Philippines, Montenegro, and North Macedonia, focusing on Euro-Atlantic integration, investment promotion, and sustainable economic development.
Harris began his career as a political journalist at Canada’s parliament. He also worked for a leading international public opinion and market research company in the UK. As a political consultant, he has advised a major US presidential campaign and US national senate races.
Originally from Canada, Harris holds a Bachelor of Journalism Honors degree from the University of King’s College, and a Master’s degree in Political Communications from Goldsmiths, University of London.
